The video game was made available to players worldwide for the first time on September 20, 2018, exactly one year and seven days after it was first made public. The game’s physical copy was made available in North America on November 10, 2017.
It was made available in North America and Japan on the Nintendo eShop at the same time on September 13, 2017, just a few hours after it was announced at a Nintendo Direct. The game cannot be played on older versions of the Nintendo 3DS or 2DS systems since it is a limited edition product designed only for the New Nintendo 3DS/2DS devices. The product only to New Nintendo 3DS and 2DS systems. It’s the new version of Minecraft made by Other Ocean Interactive and Mojang Studios.
